THANK YOU: Pastor Laura Phillips, for joining us on October 12th, Associate Pastor to St. Dysmas Lutheran Church. She started serving St. Dysmas on July 20, 2025. Pastor Laura has previously served congregations in Valley Springs, Garretson and Renner SD. In her role at St. Dysmas Pastor Laura will partner with Pastor Jeff and Pastor Dani Jo to serve in all of the South Dakota Department of Corrections facilities. Pastor Laura finds great joy in shining the light of Christ into dark places, and she is passionate about empowering others to recognize and use their God-given gifts to the glory of God.

DID YOU KNOW: Todd and Lisa have been mowing the church yard and John has been mowing the parsonage yard all summer!! Randy did a great job cleaning the fellowship hall carpet. The education committee of Jen, Emma, Lacey, Heidi and Lori are busy preparing materials and the education unit for Rally Sunday!! AND the worship committee continues to organize solid Sunday services!!! Please thank these people!!! It’s so exciting to serve the Lord!!

MANY THANKS: we just want to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Youth Group for organizing such an outstanding Veterans Program on November 13th. It was truly inspiring to see our young adults demonstrate their respect in honoring the veterans in our congregation. Well done, everyone!

THANK YOU to all of the ladies who came to our WELCA Guest Day Salad Luncheon on Thursday, Sept. 12. We are so glad you were able to attend. Thank you to all who made our Luncheon a special event, our guest speaker, Kassy Olson, who spoke on the genetic disease ALD that her family has, and to Ben Kulm & Florence Evans for their music & Pastor Ramona for giving devotions.
