WELCA MEETING: will be held on WEDNESDAY, NOV. 13 at 10:00 A.M.  At this meeting we will decide on our annual disbursements and other end-of-the year business. We would like to thank everyone who attended, worked or furnished food & supplies at our Sept. 14th Women of the ELCA (WELCA) Guest Day Luncheon. We had a great variety of salads and bars. Also a big thank you to Pastor Ramona for leading our dinner grace; to Charlie Hoffman for our entertainment and Bill Britton for being our guest speaker, telling us more about the Moody County Ministerial Association. We served 60 which included the guests and workers.  A free-will donation was taken for the Ministerial Association which amounted close to $300.  Thank you for coming! We hope you enjoyed yourself and  see you again next year at our Fall Guest Day Luncheon.

WELCA NO BAKE BAKE SALE:
OSLC WELCA NO BAKE BAKE SALE will be held during the months of September & October. This will take the place of our Bake Sale/Bazaar that use to be held in November. Instead of baking goodies and making craft items, we will be receiving cash donations.  All donations will be appreciated by many who benefit from our December distributions to Missions at the end of each year.  Envelopes marked “WELCA NO BAKE BAKE SALE” will be available in the Fellowship Hall for your convenience. You may place your envelope in the offering plate or you may send your donation to the church, OSLC WELCA, 505 S. Wind St., Flandreau, SD 57028.  If writing out a check, please make it out to “OSLC WELCA” also please write in the memo area on the check NO BAKE BAKE SALE. Thank you for your donation!
